What is recuperation?
The word recuperation is of foreign origin, which in Slovenian means heat recovery. It is therefore a process which enables simultaneous supply and discharge of air without mixing the opposite flows. Thermal energy from the exhaust air laden with moisture and odors and with too much of CO2 will be transferred to the incoming fresh air which is yet coming to your rooms - in the winter, while in the summer the heat exchanger will be taking care of cooling the hot inlet air with the cold outlet air. Supply and exhaust air are completely separated and are mutually immiscible. At the same time heat exchanger provides the exchange of moisture and cleaning of the incoming air, allowing us to maintain a pleasant living temperature and fresh air in the facility without significant temperature losses.
Why choose ventilation with recuperation?
Ventilation with recuperation ensures optimal microclimate in the room, since the air is always fresh, also the result of ventilation with recuperation is a room free from bad odors, excessive moisture and consequently mold. Ventilation with recuperation is also recommended for people with allergies and respiratory disorders, as F7 filter ensures that no pollen and PM10 particles can enter the room (in winter). Ventilation with recuperation also brings savings in energy, since the window opening is no longer necessary.
What is the difference between Airdoo 10 and other recuperative systems?
Airdoo 10 system is entirely the result of Slovenian knowledge and development and is currently the only such product on the market. Central two-way and local one pipe systems have their own shortcomings that limit their use and do not satisfy all the desires in terms of capacity and rates; this was also our guiding principle in the design of the two-way local Airdoo 10 heat exchanger with which we achieved the desired quality.
Key and high value of innovation lies in the fact that we are the first to transfer all the advantages of central recuperation ventilation systems in dimensions that allow local installation; so there is no need for major construction procedures and additional investments in transmission lines required by the central system. Together with corrective actions the system was designed in a way that with different ways of installation it blends best with the room and is virtually invisible.
What are the advantages of ventilation with Airdoo 10 heat exchanger?
The key advantage of ventilation with Airdoo 10 heat exchanger is an even two-way flow of air without the fluctuations of air pressure, whereby Airdoo 10 heat exchanger is also suitable for use of all types of furnaces and open fireplaces. Airdoo 10 heat exchanger by using the F7 filter, filters out fine particles (pollen, PM10), for them to not get into the room and this without compromising power flow. Advantage also represents different types of installation - over plaster, concealed, installation in attic apartments and installation when replacing the windows (above or below).
What is adequate moisture in the room?
For a healthy and pleasant stay a humidity of 45 to 55 percent is recommended. In winter, during the heating period, this can also be about 30 percent. Too dry air is unpleasant, because it is irritating, forces us to cough and can also be dangerous for certain groups of people - mainly pulmonary patients, infants and young children. The other extreme is too high percentage of humidity, over 60%, when the mold on interior surfaces begins to emerge.
How to get rid of the mold?
Moisture and mold growth in living areas are proven to have a negative impact on our health. Quality of life and living environment are therefore considerably worse. That is why regular ventilation is crucial. Ventilation by opening windows brings us energy loss, while Airdoo local two-way ventilation system with controlled ventilation and constant two-way flow of air, ensures you that the moisture will not stay in the rooms, instead it will be taken away with dirty air.
How to get rid of the pollen in the room?
Ventilation by opening windows and causing draught brings us as pollen, pm10 particles and dust from the road into the room... These impurities can significantly impair the well-being of people who are sensitive or allergic to pollen. Airdoo 10 ventilation system also allows the installation of the F7 filter, which stops also the smallest particles (pollen, ash, cement dust from building sites, tobacco smoke and the like). With proper and regular use of the Airdoo system you will have cleaner air than with conventional ventilation on your premises. Your allergy symptoms will be quite relieved!
When is the appropriate time for the installation of heat exchanger?
Installation of Airdoo 10 heat exchanger does not require major intervention in space, so you can opt for the installation at any time of year. Heat exchanger can also be installed in any phase of construction or renovation, when replacing windows ... It is suitable both for new buildings, older buildings, as well as for attic apartments. The procedure is simple and can be carried out even during your stay in the room.
Where can heat exchanger be installed?
Airdoo system is easiest to install when replacing the windows, where the system is installed directly above or below the window sill, but it can also be installed independently of the window installation. When for various reasons you don’t want the system to be installed in the wall, ceiling installation is also available. The interference is minimal; Airdoo system is here also almost invisible and merges with the space.
For how many m2 1 recuperation unit is sufficient?
Airdoo 10 features powerful motors, which provide for an even flow of air without the fluctuations of air pressure - more than 100 m3/h - which is sufficient for exchange of air for 60 m2 surface.
Airdoo 10 features powerful motors, which provide for an even flow of air without the fluctuations of air pressure - more than 100 m3/h - which is sufficient for exchange of air for 60 m2 surface.
How much power heat exchanger consumes?
The power consumption of the Airdoo 10 local two-way ventilation system with heat recuperation is 2.50 EUR on an annual basis at the average usage (exchange of 45m3/h).
How to manage heat exchanger?
Airdoo 10 heat exchanger is operated by remote control.
How to maintain the heat exchanger?
Maintaining the heat exchanger requires only filter replacement. Replacement interval depends on the usage, type of filter and air pollution. Airdoo local two-way ventilation system with heat recovery is designed in a way you do not need any special tool for replacement of the filters.
